Van Life

The Stella Vita camper is a solar-powered van with an expandable panel roof. Eindhoven University students will take their project on an 1,800+ mile test run this month.

• Night range: 372 miles

Its roof-top panels should provide Stella Vita with enough power to skip charging stations. The only reason to stop may be to use the bathroom, unfortunately missing from the camper. Bummer.

Snow “Bike”

The Arosno E-Trace offers a new take on cycling in the snow. Though, it looks more like an electric snowmobile with pedals.

Regardless of what we call it, Arosno provides another way for cyclists to enjoy winter’s version of nature. These inspire strong pedal-boat vibes so keep an eye out for E-Traces at winter resorts soon.

Airless Tire

Michelin's Uptis wheels replace conventional tires with a full airless wheel. A partnership with GM will bring these no-flat wheels to future vehicles as an option.

• Weight: 7% more than standard wheels

• Tunable internal spokes

Everyone that has ever had to change a tire knows it’s never at a convenient time. Even worse is the environmental impact of wasted rubber. Michelin aims to solve both problems without compromising a comfortable riding experience.

E-Truck

Rivian's first R1T electric truck has left the assembly line. First isn't always best, Rivian will need the head start to compete with Ford's F-150 Lightning coming next year. Diversification / Plan B: Producing commercial vans, including 100,000 for Amazon this year.

• Range: 314 miles

• Big Tow: 11k lb. towing capacity

Rivian hopes to become a household name as the market for electric vehicles charges up. The company launched in 2009 and first revealed their vehicles in 2018 before growing from 600 to 8,000 employees. Only one thing left on the e-vehicle startup list, launch it to space.
