The future of bone repair could be jelly. Korea's Pohang University of Science and Technology developed a hydrogel that hardens into a bone-regenerating solid.

• Injects as gel, turns solid when exposed to light

• Enhances natural bone cell growth

• Potentially safer than bone-grafting alternatives
